Secondary Cover Supervisor 
£100-£125 per day | Monday to Friday | Full-time | CPD-accredited training provided

Aspira Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Lincoln. This role is ideal for graduates considering teaching, experienced support staff, or confident professionals with transferable skills from coaching, youth work, or mentoring. 

About the Role 
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll: 

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher 
• Manage classroom behaviour, following school policies and safeguarding procedures 
• Support students in completing set work, answering questions, and keeping them on task 
• Report back on lesson outcomes and any issues to teaching staff 
• Provide consistency and structure, ensuring minimal disruption to learning 

What We’re Looking For 
We’d love to hear from you if: 

• You have experience working with young people (in schools, coaching, mentoring, or similar settings) 
• You can stay calm, consistent, and confident in front of a classroom 
• You’re reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions closely 
• You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills 

All applicants must have: 

• The right to work in the UK 
• A clear Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply) 
• Two recent references 
• A willingness to complete free online safeguarding training
