Are you a recent graduate? Are you looking for a potential career within the education sector?
Are you confident managing groups of students, keeping lessons calm, focused, and productive?

Aspira Education is recruiting graduates to work across secondary schools in Bourne. This role is ideal for graduates considering teaching, experienced support staff, or confident professionals after graduating with transferable skills from their degree or personal backgrounds.

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour, following school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Support students in completing set work, answering questions, and keeping them on task
  • Report back on lesson outcomes and any issues to teaching staff
  • Provide consistency and structure, ensuring minimal disruption to learning

This is a term-time role, usually Monday–Friday, with opportunities for short-term and long-term placements for day-to day flexible cover.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if:

  • You have experience working with young people (in schools, coaching, mentoring, or similar settings)
  • You can stay calm, consistent, and confident in front of a classroom
  • You’re reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions closely
  • You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Teaching qualifications aren’t essential, just the right approach, energy, and commitment.

All applicants must have:

  • The right to work in the UK
  • A clear Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply)
  • Two recent references
  • A willingness to complete free online safeguarding training

What You’ll Get

  • £130-140 per day (paid weekly via Parasol – our FCSA-accredited umbrella partner)
  • Free CPD-accredited training through the Aspira Training Academy
  • Ongoing coaching and classroom management techniques
  • Dedicated support from an education-led team who understand the challenges of the role

Safeguarding Commitment
Aspira Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must be willing to undergo safeguarding and background checks, including an Enhanced DBS.
