School Sports Coach

We are seeking individuals from a Sports Coaching background (Education Setting)

£90-£95 per day | Monday to Friday | Full-time & part-time available | CPD-accredited training provided

Aspira Education are hiring individual from a Sports Coaching background to work in schools in Lincoln, supporting children with additional needs - including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH. You don’t need school experience - just the presence, patience, and passion to help young people succeed.

About the Role

• Support pupils in 1:1 and small-group sessions - both in and out of the classroom

• Use structured routines, positive reinforcement, and active strategies to improve focus and wellbeing

• Help learners regulate their emotions and manage challenging behaviour through movement and mentoring

• Assist with break times, transitions, and physical activities

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and behaviour teams to create a calm and supportive environment

• *Please note - for this role we are seeking people from a sports coaching background, who can utilize sport as a mode of intervention within the classroom, as well as outside the classroom.

You'll work Monday to Friday (Part-time available), term-time only, in a local mainstream or specialist school.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants from:

• Sports coaching, youth work, personal training, or mentoring backgrounds

• Roles where you’ve worked with vulnerable young people or managed behaviour

• Individuals with natural authority, calmness, and energy

You don’t need a teaching qualification - just confidence, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping young people grow.

All applicants must have:

• The right to work in the UK

• A clear Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply)

• Two recent references

• A willingness to complete free online safeguarding training
