Aspira Education is recruiting ECTs (formerly known as NQTs) to join primary and secondary schools across Derbyshire. This is the ideal opportunity to gain experience in different settings, build your confidence, and develop your teaching style in a supportive, values-led environment.

About the Role

As an ECT through Aspira, you’ll:

• Step into the classroom with guidance and pre-agreed expectations
• Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to your subject or key stage
• Be matched with schools that suit your teaching style and values
• Receive regular check-ins, advice, and CPD support from our team
• Build confidence in managing behaviour, differentiation, and SEND

We work with a wide range of schools — from small village primaries to specialist provisions — and we’ll help you explore what’s right for you.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally gained within the last two years
• A positive, resilient attitude and passion for working with young people
• Willingness to develop professionally and reflect on your practice
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

No prior classroom experience beyond training placements is required — just enthusiasm, integrity, and a readiness to learn.
