About Gemma

​Gemma is a qualified teacher with nearly two decades of classroom experience, specialising in SEND and SEBD education. She led the internal behaviour provision at a large secondary school, where she created and delivered bespoke learning pathways for vulnerable students and worked closely with external agencies including CAMHS, youth services, and safeguarding teams

​Alongside her teaching practice, Gemma has extensive experience mentoring NQTs and PGCE students, as well as designing and delivering training for school staff. Her deep understanding of school priorities; from raising attainment to supporting student wellbeing , this allows her to deliver training that is both practical and impactful.

​At Aspira Education, Gemma leads the in-house Training Academy, designing courses that help support staff step confidently into the classroom. Her training is informed by real challenges schools face and equips candidates with the tools they need to thrive in diverse settings.

​Gemma’s passion for inclusive education and commitment to quality shape every part of Aspira’s approach, rom candidate preparation to school partnership. Her blend of frontline experience and training expertise ensures that every placement is informed, intentional, and focused on long-term impact.
